Biography
Corolyn Holub is an artist and creative professional working in Austin, Texas, who uses various studio techniques to explore how intense, sentimental connections motivate future actions. She is interested in perceptions of place and being—of how one exists in the world and how that identification with place shapes our memories and interactions. In May 2014 she received her B.F.A. in Studio Art as well as a Business Certification at The University of Texas at Austin. Upon graduation, she worked as a studio assistant for Fisterra Studio, assisting with the logistics, marking, and creation of the creative entrepreneurship program Raising Artists. Sponsored by the nonprofit Generous Art, Raising Artists

taught professional artist practices to emerging and established creative professionals. Corolyn has shown work at various locations around central Texas, including the Visual Arts Center, The People’s Gallery at Austin City Hall, the Georgetown Art Center, and 120ART. She also has work in the permanent collections of the Brooklyn Art Library in New York and the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost at the University of Texas at Austin. She currently balances commissions for art and design from her studio practice with working full-time for the College of Natural Sciences at The University of Texas at Austin.
